Two weeks old

The pups are two weeks old already. Nancy (who helps out midday) and I were lamenting that 25% of our time with the litter is already gone. Cleo's mastitis has resolved and the pups are doing great. The smallest pup (cream male) weighs 27 oz and the largest (White) weighs 2.5 lbs. All the pups doubled their birthweight within 2 weeks, which is an important milestone for me. Most of the pups weigh 30-31 oz. Purple female was the first pup to open her eyes, and her yellow sister is just behind her (eyes half open). Purple is also the most advanced in the walking department. In addition to typical puppy vocalizations, the pups will occasionally growl or even bark. Today, the pups received their first worming, primarily against roundworms, a very efficient canine parasite. And the pups need another nail trim already.
